23 Jun 2018 – Sunday announced its latest move to insure carriers of GrabExpress. The service expansion is seen to strengthen Sunday’s partnership with Thailand’s largest smartphone-based ride-hailing service provider.
During the GrabTalk event attended by 950 Grab drivers. Grab, one of Sunday’s major business partners launched its new service, GrabExpress, providing delivery services through Grab’s mobile application.
Sunday is taking part by providing carrier liability insurance at no additional cost.
In this joint marketing with Grab, Sunday’s logo will be featured on Grab’s delivery bikes and app. GrabExpress is now handling several thousands deliveries per day.
Sunday insures Grab’s drivers
Currently, Thailand’s Grab drivers and passengers are not covered by any insurance. Sunday is the first and only insurer who provides policies covering Grab vehicles, its drivers, passengers, and third parties in case of accidents. Grab’s Top Drivers will also get free health insurance coverage from Sunday.
